MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Fresh Meadows, NY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran who accesses VA care for obesity and connecting them with tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. Participants can choose from a variety of care options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app offers ongoing guidance. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further assistance beyond traditional weight management methods.
