Harvest to Haven, located in Fresh Meadows, NY, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families in need. We source surplus crops directly from farmers, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive critical nutrition during challenging times, especially highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program offers weekly food distribution at East Side House Settlement community centers, fostering a welcoming environment where families can access nutritious food packages on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage all visitors to bring their own bags or carts and to wear a mask while picking up their food.
