First Stop Food Pantries

First Stop Food Pantries in Freeport, NY, is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our pantries offer up to five days' worth of nutritious food to meet basic needs, ensuring that no one goes hungry in our community. We also connect visitors with vital resources, including information on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Health Plus, WIC, and various forms of utility and mortgage assistance. To maintain a safe environment for our staff and volunteers, we limit service to six families at a time and manage waiting areas thoughtfully. We warmly invite those in need to visit their nearest pantry and access the support essential for their well-being.
