Free Synagogue of Flushing

The Free Synagogue of Flushing, established in 1917, is the oldest liberal Reform congregation in Queens, serving as a pillar of the community at 4160 Kissena Blvd. Rooted in the Free Synagogue movement led by Rabbi Stephen Samuel Wise, its mission centers on social justice and inclusivity. The synagogue offers a variety of services, including Shabbat and holiday observances, family education programs, and hosts vibrant community events, such as interfaith gatherings and a Jazz Service.
