At the Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry in Farmingdale, NY, we are dedicated to meeting the urgent food assistance needs of Nassau County residents with compassion and respect. As an outreach of Congregation Beth Ohr, our mission is to serve every family with dignity, treating them as integral members of our community. Each month, families can shop for food in our pantry, receiving guidance from our caring volunteers. To ensure we connect with our clients meaningfully, every family is invited to an annual interview. Our pantry operates every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., providing not just emergency food, but also a supportive environment where families can access additional resources and referrals to help them thrive.
