At Women, Infants, Children (WIC) in Far Rockaway, NY, we are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, along with infants and children up to age five. Our mission centers around providing essential food assistance, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support to foster a healthier community. Through our comprehensive WIC program, participants have access to nutrition education sessions led by our experienced nutritionists, eWIC cards for purchasing nutritious foods, and vital referrals to additional services such as SNAP, health insurance, medical and dental care, and child care resources. We believe that every mother and child deserves the right tools for a healthy start, and we strive to connect families with the comprehensive support they need.
