The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Far Rockaway, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to the age of 5 through vital food assistance and education. Our mission is to provide essential nutritious foods to meet the basic dietary needs of families, alongside personalized nutrition education and breastfeeding support. WIC also connects participants to necessary referrals for additional services in the community, ensuring comprehensive support during crucial early years.
