Harvest to Haven is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Far Rockaway, NY, by providing essential food assistance through the distribution of surplus crops sourced from local farmers. This program plays a vital role in ensuring that vulnerable families receive nutritious food, especially during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Families can access our weekly food distribution at one of our community centers, where we offer food packages on a first-come, first-served basis, with one package allowed per family. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bags or carts and to wear masks for safety. Join us in our mission to support those in need and help nourish our community.
