At Joseph's Place in Fairport, NY, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance and a welcoming environment for families in the Maplewood and Edgerton neighborhoods. Our mission is rooted in compassion and dignity, ensuring that every individual who visits feels like an important part of our community rather than just a statistic. As a proud partner of Foodlink, we adhere to USDA food pantry guidelines and offer nutritious food options to meet the basic needs of our neighbors. To receive emergency food, residents need to bring an ID and reside within our service area, defined by the Genesee River, Lyell Ave., Mount Read Blvd., and the 14615 ZIP code. We operate on specific days each month, providing support on the 2nd Wednesday from 5-7 PM, and the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays from 1-3 PM. While our physical office is currently closed due to COVID-19, our dedicated staff remains available to assist and answer questions regarding eligibility, ensuring continuity of our supportive services.
