Mobile Outreach Resource Services (MORE)

Mobile Outreach Resource Services (MORE), located in Elmont, NY, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential emergency food assistance and referral services in convenient locations such as libraries, parks, and shopping centers. Our program focuses on delivering nonperishable food items, personal care products, household supplies, and pet food directly to individuals who are homebound or at high risk, including senior citizens and disabled veterans. We ensure that those in need receive nutritious food on a biweekly basis, following an individualized order from our warehouse menu. Each recipient is carefully assessed to determine their eligibility for ongoing support and social services, as needed. MORE is committed to enhancing the well-being of our community members by making vital resources easily accessible during times of crisis.
