Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry

Located in Elmont, NY, the Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry is dedicated to delivering essential food assistance to the residents of Nassau County each month. Operated by Congregation Beth Ohr, we prioritize treating every family with dignity and respect, fostering an environment of care and community. Our pantry allows clients to personally select their food items, supported by our compassionate volunteers, ensuring each family receives not just monthly emergency food supplies, but also a listening ear and guidance to additional resources they may need. Families can visit us once a month after completing an annual interview with our staff. We distribute food every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., inviting those in need to become part of our caring family.
