Mobile Food Pantry Program

The Mobile Food Pantry Program of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier serves Elmira, NY, by delivering essential food assistance directly to communities in need. This program utilizes a specially equipped truck to provide fresh produce, dairy, and grocery items at convenient distribution sites. When the truck arrives, dedicated volunteers set up a welcoming environment where clients can 'shop' for the nutritious food items they require. Our mission is to ensure everyone has access to the resources to meet their basic nutritional needs. Community members are encouraged to visit our distribution sites with bags or boxes in hand to easily carry home their selected food items.
