MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in East Meadow, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with the necessary referrals to a variety of weight management services. We recognize that each Veteran has unique needs, which is why we offer a range of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-management. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
