Mobile Outreach Resource Services (MORE) in East Meadow, NY is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and vital resources to individuals facing food insecurity. By operating in convenient locations such as libraries, parks, and shopping centers, MORE ensures that community members have access to emergency food when local pantries are closed. Our program focuses on meeting basic nutritional needs by delivering non-perishable food, personal care items, household supplies, and pet food directly to high-risk, homebound individuals, including senior citizens and disabled veterans, who may struggle to travel to local food pantries. Deliveries are made biweekly, based on individual orders from our extensive warehouse menu. We carefully assess each recipient for eligibility and additional social services, laying a foundation of support for ongoing needs while ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.
