First Stop Food Pantries in East Meadow, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing urgent nutritional needs. Our emergency food pantries serve as vital access points, offering up to five days’ worth of food to help meet basic needs. In addition to emergency food supplies, we connect our clients with important community resources, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Health Plus, WIC, and various forms of assistance for heating, utilities, and employment. We prioritize the safety of our visitors and staff by limiting service to six families at a time, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
