In East Elmhurst, NY, Women, Infants, Children (WIC) provides essential food assistance to low-income pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age five. Our mission is to promote healthy nutrition through the distribution of nutritious foods such as low-fat or fat-free milk, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables. WIC also offers vital breastfeeding support, nutrition education, and immunization screening and referral services.
