Early Head Start

Located in East Elmhurst, NY, Early Head Start is dedicated to providing comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants, toddlers, and their expectant mothers. Our mission is to foster the growth of healthy, thriving families through a range of tailored program options. Our Center-Based services offer enriching early learning experiences in a nurturing environment, complemented by at least two annual home visits from our caring staff. For families who prefer a more personalized approach, our Home-Based services include weekly home visits that focus on child development and equip parents with valuable skills to enhance their child's growth, alongside twice-monthly group sessions for parents and children to connect and learn from one another. Additionally, our Family Child Care services provide education within a home-like setting, and our Combination services integrate both home and center options for a holistic approach to child and family development.
