At Women, Infants, Children (WIC) in Corona, NY, our mission is to ensure that low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, along with their infants and children up to age five, have access to essential food assistance and nutrition education. Through our Special Supplemental Nutrition Program, we offer a wealth of resources including free nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support from our trained lactation consultants, and vouchers for nutritious foods and infant formula. We empower our participants to make healthy food choices and promote an active lifestyle through our 'Fit WIC' initiatives, which include food demonstrations and community activities aimed at combating obesity. Together, we are committed to fostering the health and well-being of families in our community.
