First Stop Food Pantries

First Stop Food Pantries in Central Islip, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing urgent needs. Our emergency food pantries offer up to five days' worth of nutritious food, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry. In addition to food, we also connect visitors with vital community resources, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Health Plus, WIC, heating and utility assistance, employment services, and mortgage support. We invite those in need to visit their nearest pantry location, where we prioritize the safety of both staff and clients by serving only six families at a time in our waiting areas.
