Milo Legendre

Milo Legendre, MHC-LP, is a dedicated mental and behavioral health generalist known for treating adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. Currently serving as the Clinical Supervisor in supportive permanent housing, he works with adults facing Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Substance Abuse Disorders (SUD), and experiences of homelessness and incarceration. Milo's expertise also extends to his previous role as the Clinical Director of a day habilitation program, where he supported young adults on the Autism Spectrum and with varying levels of intellectual disability. Trained in evidence-based psychotherapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, he has facilitated group therapy sessions and worked with clients addressing issues such as social anxiety, generalized anxiety, work stress, career counseling, and PTSD. In a group private practice setting, Milo is committed to helping clients gain insight into themselves and their challenges, while imparting valuable coping skills. He firmly believes that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is paramount to progress, providing a safe, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for all. Milo defines happiness as finding peace with one’s past and present, coupled with a sense of autonomy when envisioning the future.
