Diabetes Education Program

Located in Brentwood, NY, the Diabetes Education Program provides essential support and education for individuals navigating diabetes, whether newly diagnosed or seeking to manage existing issues. Our dedicated team includes Registered Dietitians who offer guidance on healthy eating, meal planning, reading food labels, and weight management. Additionally, our Diabetes Nurse Educators provide critical insights into understanding diabetes, utilizing blood glucose meters, managing medications and insulin, and minimizing health risks. We offer comprehensive Diabetes Self-Management Classes, a four-part series designed to empower participants with effective management strategies while fostering a community of shared experiences. These classes are open to everyone and are conveniently scheduled in both Spring and Fall.
