At Veterans' Services in Bellmore, NY, we are dedicated to supporting veterans and their families as they transition from military life to civilian life. Our Military Appreciation Tuesdays provide a welcoming space for veterans to access essential food assistance and personal care items, with additional resources like household products and school supplies whenever possible. For those unable to visit our food pantry, our Mobile Pantry delivers nutritious groceries directly to homebound and disabled veterans. Through our VetsWork program, we empower veterans with vital job skills, including help with cover letters, resumes, and valuable workplace experiences. We believe in the importance of community engagement, which drives our ongoing outreach initiatives to connect veterans with the benefits and support they deserve.
