At the Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry in Baldwin, NY, we are dedicated to supporting the residents of Nassau County by providing essential food assistance to families in need each month. Our pantry operates with a warm, family-oriented approach, where every client is treated with dignity and respect. Families can shop for their food with guidance from our compassionate volunteers, ensuring they receive what they need in a welcoming environment. Each family is invited to visit the pantry monthly and must complete a simple annual interview with our staff to help us understand their needs better. In addition to emergency food support, we aim to empower our clients by offering a sympathetic ear and connecting them with social service resources when necessary. We distribute food every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ready to extend a helping hand to those in our community.
