Riis Academy After-School Program

Riis Academy After-School Program in Astoria, NY, is dedicated to empowering youth from grades K-12 by offering enriching services and activities in a safe and welcoming environment. Collaborating with local schools, families, and community leaders, our program prioritizes the holistic development of children. We provide diverse offerings that include tutoring, homework assistance, engaging STEM learning activities, and a vibrant arts curriculum. Students also benefit from college readiness programs, educational field trips, community service initiatives, health services, and cooking and nutritional workshops. With a focus on sports and recreation, we ensure that every child can explore their interests while making new friends. Serving students across seven campuses, including two community centers and five local schools, we invite families to register by contacting the program director. Participation is free, reflecting our commitment to accessible education for all.
