April Piercy

Dr. April Piercy is a compassionate and dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist Associate with a PhD, who is committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. She particularly excels in working with African American clients, creating a therapeutic environment where they can feel identified and supported. Dr. Piercy's mission is to challenge and break the stereotypes surrounding therapy in the African American community while addressing diversity issues that individuals and families may encounter in their daily lives. She has a special focus on women's issues, helping women rediscover their identities and guiding them towards healing and self-empowerment. Drawing on her extensive training, she utilizes interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to facilitate significant changes and Bowen Family Systems to help families explore their connections. Dr. Piercy offers a safe and supportive space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings, regardless of the issues or concerns they may have. She understands that change can be frightening, but Dr. Piercy is dedicated to guiding her clients towards a brighter future filled with growth and potential.
