Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Vineland, NJ, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a food system rooted in social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive training and practical experience, the fellowship empowers individuals to become effective educators and community leaders. Participants engage in organic agriculture, helping to grow and distribute diversified crops while implementing innovative educational programs in health and ecological literacy. Fellows also support local farmers markets, create and maintain community gardens, and actively participate in regional food coalitions to enhance access to healthy food for all. The fellowship comprises a six-month immersive learning experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where fellows apply their new skills in collaboration with local non-profits. This program is designed to promote inclusivity by charging no tuition, ensuring that anyone who shares our vision can become a part of this transformative initiative.
