Tilem, Ellen

Ellen Tilem is deeply committed to advancing Tikkun Olam—the Jewish principle of repairing the world—by fostering connections between diverse communities. As a student in the ALEPH Ordination Program, she emphasizes worship, study, and service to enrich both Jewish and non-Jewish relationships. Ellen previously served as a rabbinical intern and founded Unapologetically Jewish at Yale, promoting unity and educating against antisemitism. In her role at the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action, she collaborates with various communities to address pressing social issues.
