Gail Poverman-kave

Gail Poverman-Kave is a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding credentials as a BCD, MSW, and LCSW. With a graduate degree from Marywood University obtained in 1990, she has devoted her career to providing a nurturing and safe environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions with freedom. Her approach to therapy is rooted in cognitive-behavioral and client-centered techniques, facilitating a journey toward self-awareness, insight, and healthy relationships. Gail passionately works with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families, welcoming clients from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and faiths. She specializes in helping children and teens navigate life's challenges and has extensive experience working with the elderly and their families through her per diem work in nursing. Her practice utilizes a range of modalities, including mindfulness-based therapy, play therapy, and supportive psychotherapy, and she offers pet therapy to create a comfortable atmosphere for anxious clients. Importantly, therapy animals are optional, ensuring that clients can engage in therapy in the way that feels right for them.
