Debra Ruisard

Debra Ruisard is a compassionate clinical social worker and therapist specializing in the healing of trauma and PTSD, as well as women's issues and substance use disorders. With a deep understanding of how trauma can be stored within the body, Debra's approach to therapy emphasizes the importance of addressing physical sensations alongside mental health issues. She recognizes that traditional talk therapy may not be sufficient for those grappling with the effects of trauma, and therefore she incorporates innovative techniques such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, and trauma-focused modalities in her practice.
