Meals on Wheels in Riverside, NJ, is dedicated to providing homebound residents, aged 60 and older, with nutritious, well-balanced meals delivered straight to their door. Our compassionate program ensures that seniors receive essential meal assistance while maintaining their health and well-being, particularly during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. We offer a flexible intake process conducted by phone, where prospective clients are interviewed to assess their needs and eligibility. While all clients are required to be home for meal delivery, we understand specific circumstances like radiation, chemotherapy, or dialysis can affect availability and allow for exceptions. Importantly, we do not base our services on income, ensuring that no one is turned away due to financial limitations.
