Homefirst is dedicated to empowering children and families in crisis throughout Rahway, NJ, and beyond. We understand the challenges faced by parents who are struggling to provide basic necessities for their children, as well as young mothers embarking on their parenting journey without adequate support. Our mission is to help these families build resilience and make informed, positive choices. In Union County, we offer engaging cooking classes where participants can learn to prepare healthy meals using fresh herbs and vegetables sourced from our community garden. Through these hands-on experiences, we aim to promote nutritious eating habits and foster a sense of community. Join us in our efforts to create a supportive environment for families in need.
