Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) - Mercer County

The Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) in Mercer County, located in Princeton, NJ, is dedicated to providing vital nutritional support for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our remote services, we offer personalized nutrition education and breastfeeding support, ensuring that families receive essential guidance and resources from the comfort of their homes. Our program provides checks for free nutritious food and connects participants with vital health care referrals and immunization screenings. Enrollment is open to all income-eligible families, and once registered, participants can receive 1-3 months’ worth of food assistance checks, which are processed and mailed directly to their homes. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all services are now offered remotely to prioritize the health and safety of our community. Although we cannot provide in-office appointments at this time, our dedicated staff conduct Remote (Re) Certifications and assessments through secure communication methods to ensure families continue to receive the support they need. We are committed to nurturing the health and well-being of our youngest and most vulnerable community members.
