Food Service Training Academy

At the Food Service Training Academy in Plainfield, NJ, we are dedicated to tackling hunger at its roots by empowering individuals through marketable job skills that lead to sustainable employment. Our complimentary 15-week intensive program offers aspiring chefs the culinary expertise and essential certifications, including ServSafe, needed to thrive in the food industry. Classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, where students receive training in culinary techniques, life skills, communication, nutrition, and healthy cooking. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to secure a living wage, and we provide transportation assistance to eligible participants.
