Street Smart Outreach is dedicated to supporting youth and young adults aged 13-21 in Piscataway, NJ, who are facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Our mission is to reach out to these vulnerable individuals, addressing their immediate needs with compassion and urgency. We provide essential services such as food assistance, clothing, and blankets, alongside access to shelter and crisis intervention counseling. Our team works around the clock, ensuring that support is available 24/7, and we connect youth to vital resources, including transportation to services, referrals to health care and social service agencies, and education on substance abuse and safe sex. With several counselors fluent in Spanish, we strive to meet the diverse needs of our community and assist those in precarious situations in obtaining vital documents and finding stable housing and employment.
