Lauren Kretzmer

Lauren Kretzmer, LCSW, understands that each individual's experiences, pain, and stories are as unique as fingerprints. With a heartfelt acknowledgment of the varied ways in which pain manifests, she believes in the universal human desire to find relief and healing from life's challenges. In her practice, Lauren is dedicated to guiding clients towards their own healing journeys, recognizing that the path to recovery is distinct for everyone, and shaped by their personal stories and needs. She earned her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University and is a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey. Her diverse experience includes working with high-risk children, adolescents, families, and adults, alongside couples in therapy. As a certified Grief Counseling Specialist, Lauren is particularly attuned to the nuances of trauma, emotional struggles, and relational challenges. With an array of therapeutic modalities at her disposal—including mindfulness-based approaches, somatic therapy, and attachment-based techniques—she helps clients explore how trauma and stress are held in the body, fostering deep healing and a sense of peace. Through her devoted and trauma-informed practices, Lauren aspires to assist clients in navigating their personal narratives and moving towards a brighter future.
