Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Parsippany, NJ, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating future leaders who will advocate for a just and sustainable food system. We provide a tuition-free program that empowers our Fellows through hands-on, organic food system education at the beautiful Allegheny Farm in Virginia. Over the course of six months, selected Fellows engage in experiential learning, exploring innovative methods of growing and distributing diversified crops, creating educational initiatives for health care, and integrating food and ecological literacy into school programs. Our mission extends to supporting local farmers markets, developing channels for healthy food accessibility, and strengthening community food coalitions. Following their initial training, our Fellows dedicate a year to applying their skills alongside regional nonprofit partners, making a tangible impact in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the immersive fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
