Kathleen Pete

Kathleen Pete is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (NCC, LPC) dedicated to supporting individuals, children, and families as they navigate life's challenges. She understands that both adults and children may face moments when they feel 'not like their usual self,' particularly in settings such as home, work, or school. When those feelings arise and clients are unsure of how to respond, therapy with Kathleen can provide a safe space to explore emotions, thoughts, and hurdles that seem insurmountable. With expertise in addressing a wide array of issues—including anxiety, depression, obsessions and compulsions, fears and phobias, school refusal, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties—Kathleen employs an integrative, supportive, and collaborative approach in her practice. Using a combination of therapy types, including play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), she helps individuals and families gain insight, develop coping skills, and find new paths to meet their unique needs. Kathleen welcomes inquiries about her therapeutic services and is excited to offer the support needed to help clients feel 'back on track' and 'in a better place.'
