David Berkovitz

David Berkovitz, PhD, is a dedicated psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the field of therapy. He believes that while individuals may not need to share their feelings with everyone, everyone must talk to someone—a notion reflected in his approach as a professional listener. David has worked in a variety of settings, including a psychiatric hospital for 15 years and as a consultant for the New Jersey Department of Corrections for 6 years. His practice encompasses individual, child, marital, and geriatric psychotherapy, all grounded in psychodynamic processes. Through his diverse experiences, he has honed his ability to engage clients based on their immediate needs and long-term aspirations.
