Food & Basic Assistance, located in North Bergen, NJ, is dedicated to alleviating hunger and supporting individuals and families in need through a variety of comprehensive food assistance programs. Our weekly Client Choice Walk-In Food Pantries provide access to a broad selection of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable food items, ensuring everyone can find what suits their needs. For those who are homebound, we offer a convenient Virtual Food Pantry with online ordering. We also distribute mixed produce bags and periodically offer packaged dinner meals and supermarket gift cards to help our clients. In addition, we support registered food clients with crucial services like diaper distribution and period supplies. Each November, we run a Thanksgiving Distribution Program to ensure families can celebrate with a hearty meal.
