Sofia De Jesus, a Licensed Professional Counselor, is dedicated to guiding individuals through their journeys with compassion and understanding. Firmly believing in the power of self-awareness, reflection, intention, healing, love, and mindfulness, she creates a safe space for individuals to confront life’s challenges, cultivate new skills, and feel heard and supported. With experience working with children, teens, adults, and families in various environments—including schools, outpatient, inpatient, and private practice—Sofia effectively addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles, relationship dynamics, low self-esteem, and gender identity. Her treatment approach is highly individualized, drawing upon a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems Therapy.
