Luciene (lucy) Sant Anna Takagi

Luciene (Lucy) Sant Anna Takagi is a dedicated psychologist with a deep commitment to understanding and helping others. She values the therapeutic relationship and seeks clients who are willing to share their journey and reflect on their experiences, both within and outside of therapy sessions. With a preference for a relational, psychodynamic approach, Luciene collaborates with clients to explore solutions and meaningful insights together. Her areas of specialization encompass documented and undocumented immigration experiences, grief and loss, trauma, sexual and physical abuse, relationship difficulties, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and adjustment disorders. A Brazilian psychologist, Luciene holds two Master's degrees and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, is fluent in Portuguese, and has served as the Past-President of the NJ Psychological Association.
