Street Smart Outreach

Street Smart Outreach is dedicated to supporting youth and young adults aged 13-21 in Newark, NJ, who face the challenges of homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Our compassionate street outreach program provides essential food assistance, clothing, and blankets, while also facilitating access to shelter and crisis intervention counseling. We pride ourselves on connecting vulnerable individuals with a network of partner resources, offering transportation to vital services and referrals for health care and social services. Additionally, we provide crucial information on HIV/AIDS, safe sex practices, crisis support, and substance abuse education. Our outreach counselors are available 24/7, ensuring that help is always within reach, with several team members fluent in Spanish.
