Katie Lucas

Katie Lucas is a compassionate therapist who specializes in providing holistic therapy to individuals, ranging from teenagers to older adults, as well as couples seeking to enhance their communication skills and deepen their connections. She employs mindfulness, attachment, and self-compassionate approaches, integrating creative interventions such as art therapy and horticultural therapy to enrich the therapeutic experience. As an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist with advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention therapy, Katie effectively collaborates with clients to address OCD and anxiety symptoms through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, as a gender specialist with training through WPATH, she is well-equipped to support clients navigating gender-related issues. Katie views therapy as a collaborative process, dedicated to guiding individuals toward increased self-awareness, fresh perspectives, and the appreciation of their inherent strengths.
