Kristen Accisano is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an MSW, LCSW, and CCM, who specializes in supporting adults and elders through the complexities of life transitions, end-of-life challenges, and bereavement. She understands the unique struggles that arise as individuals grow older, as well as the stress, anxiety, and burnout that can impact families caring for loved ones with aging disorders like dementia. Kristen is passionate about collaborating with clients to uncover a narrative of resilience, change, and hope during these challenging times. With her board certification as a case manager, she provides holistic care management and counseling tailored for those managing chronic or terminal illnesses, as well as their families. Kristen employs a person-centered, strength-based approach, utilizing her eclectic therapeutic modalities—ranging from compassion-focused to emotionally-focused strategies—to support the unique needs of each individual.
