The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Long Branch, NJ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission centers on promoting healthy food habits through a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and strong breastfeeding support. By providing vouchers for healthy food purchases and facilitating referrals to healthcare services, we strive to empower families to achieve better nutritional outcomes.
