Martha Susan Rinehart

Martha Susan Rinehart, PhD, MA, MFTperm, LAC, is a seasoned Marriage and Family Therapist who has been practicing since 2012. As a dedicated therapist at the Council for Relationships, she has made her mark in both the Oxford Valley Mall and Lawrenceville offices. Throughout her career, Martha has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of couples and families facing life transitions and relationship challenges, as well as individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, grief, and work-related stress. She is certified to provide online video therapy services in Pennsylvania and has specialized training to support military families, helping both active and retired service members navigate their unique challenges. Martha’s therapeutic style is primarily rooted in Structural and Bowenian theory, though she takes pride in tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. With a compassionate presence, she empowers her clients through understanding, support, and practical feedback, enabling them to build confidence and effectively address personal life challenges. Martha holds an LMFT obtained in 2018 following six years of supervised practice, and her Ph.D. in Social Systems Sciences from UPENN has equipped her with a profound understanding of systemic dynamics essential for couples and family therapy.
