The People's Pantry

The People's Pantry, located in Lakewood, NJ, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. As a choice model food pantry, we empower clients by offering a variety of grocery items that change weekly based on donations, allowing them to select what best meets their nutritional needs. Our mission goes beyond just providing emergency food; we aim to break the stigma surrounding food insecurity and raise awareness about its prevalence in our community. We welcome walk-ins and new clients on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., while existing clients can schedule appointments for Monday through Wednesday. Together, we are building a healthier, more supportive community.
