MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Jersey City, NJ, through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran who visits VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with tailored weight management options that meet their unique needs. We offer a variety of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for at-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer independent management. For Veterans facing persistent weight challenges, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring alternative options.
