OBC Food Pantry

The OBC Food Pantry, an essential outreach of Old Bergen Church in Jersey City, NJ, is dedicated to providing food assistance to those in need within our community. Our mission, rooted in the values of service and compassion, reflects our commitment to ensuring that no one goes hungry. Open on the last Saturday of each month, with special distributions before Thanksgiving and Christmas, we offer a selection of nutritious boxed and canned foods including pasta, rice, milk, juice, vegetables, and frozen meats. To access our emergency food services, clients must bring identification and their social security number, and families can qualify for additional food with appropriate documentation for their children. We partner with various local agencies, such as Let's Celebrate and Horizon Health Center, to facilitate referrals, making it easier for those in need to receive the support they deserve.
