Meals on Wheels in Jersey City, NJ, is dedicated to serving our community's senior residents by delivering nutritionally balanced meals directly to those who are homebound and aged 60 and over. Our program ensures that seniors receive vital nourishment by providing five or seven frozen meals each week, tailored to individual needs. Each meal adheres to the latest Dietary Guidelines for Americans, offering at least one-third of the Dietary Reference Intakes to promote health and well-being. We pride ourselves on offering this essential food assistance service at no cost to our clients, with an optional contribution of $1.25 per meal to help sustain our efforts. We believe that every senior deserves access to healthy food, and we are here to support them in their homes with care and respect.
